Volunteer to work with us and get 1st shopping rights at the
Workers PRE-SALE!!!!

Our GREATEST NEED is “Manpower” (or strong woman power) for
Set-up & Tear-down so PLEASE volunteer [your man] to help!!!
Set-up is Saturday, Feb 25 @ 10am-4pm
This counts as 2 SHIFTS but you do NOT have to
work all 6 hours.  ANY time is GREATLY Appreciated!
Breakdown is Saturday, Mar 3rd @ 3:00pm.
These shifts can count for him OR for YOU.

If your Middle or HS Church Youth Group needs to raise money
and they work Set-up and Tear-down,
we'll make a donation $$$ to that group!
Contact me!

We'll have about 15 shifts available for stuffing the grab-bags.
These go very quickly, so sign up QUICKLY for this easy shift!
It will be on Saturday, Feb 25th at 5:00pm.
We meet at the TN Children's home GYM
Another great way to work your 3 shifts, without working the
actual sale, is to get 5 advertisers for the grab-bags.  I hand
out 300 gift bags full of advertisements/coupons of local
businesses. This is a great (and cheap!) way for businesses,
especially home businesses (i.e Arbonne, Mary Kay, Pampered
Chef, etc.) to advertise and hit their target market. The cost
for advertising is $40. They provide the advertisement,
preferably a 4x6 size, but it can be a full sheet of paper if they
fold or tri-fold it. Another helpful hint is to put it on colored
paper. Coupons or something attached to it works best. Business
cards are not recommended unless it is a magnet. You pick up
the flyers and checks and you are done! If interested, please call
or email Laura.

I also barter for shifts! Put up 15 Flyers in area businesses
before the sale and that counts as 3 shifts!
Contact us and we'll
email you the flyer. You print them off and deliver them and
that's it!
You
must email me with the businesses that allowed you to put it
up, so we can make sure it's not duplicated by another worker.

An EVEN better opportunity! If you work the ENTIRE Sort shift
on Saturday, Mar 3rd, (we start at 2:00 and are usually done by
6:00). You not only get to pick up your stuff right then, you also
get your CHECK!!!!!!!!!! This counts as one shift. We provide pizza
and drinks that day, Sign up TODAY!!! You also can purchase
things that you may have missed while sorting!

To shop early and receive all the benefits of a
volunteer worker,
you must commit to and follow through with one of the following:

It will be important for you ON TIME to be ready to work at
the chosen time, so if you want to look around, please come
early.  If you are working on a drop-off day and want to drop
off your own items the same day you are working, please allow a
little extra time.

What you can expect

Fun - We have wonderful workers you will love getting to know.
Accomplishment - We are busy from the moment we arrive until
the day is done.
Benefits -     Shop early for the best selection and cost, with
~30 workers instead of hundreds of consignors.
Drop off your items when you work (if you work on drop off!)
If you work the sort shift, you pick up you items then, no
driving back to pick up on Sunday.
Half Price Shopping workers get to shop before their shift!

What we expect
Flexibility - There are many aspects to pulling this sale
together, and we need workers who are open to doing everything
from sweeping to assisting consignors and buyers.
Responsibility - Because this is a volunteer effort, we rely MORE
on your help, not less.  You are expected to work your schedule
shift having arrived early enough to be ready to go when your
shift starts.  It hurts us, and everyone you work with, if you
fail in your commitment to show up at your appointed time or do
not give 100% effort while working.

Shopping Etiquette
At workers/consignors shopping time on Tuesday, only the actual
workers may come in.  Spouses or older children must work their
own shifts to pre-shop. Consignors will be allowed one other
person. If you are a worker, and get to shop at the special
time, you can give your Consignor passes away!
NO CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS ALLOWED AT THE PRE-SALE.

Important Tips:
The shifts will be filled by first come, first served basis, SIGN-
UP ONLINE ASAP!!!!   We also barter your services for early
shopping, so let us know if you have something to barter. YOU
CAN CALL OR EMAIL ME FOR BARTER SHIFTS, SIGNS AND
ADVERTISING SHIFTS ONLY. ALL OTHERS, SIGN-UP
ONLINE.

Please let us know if you have a health condition that might
prevent you from doing certain jobs, such as pregnancy, bad
back, etc.

If you have to cancel for any reason, please try to find someone
to take your place (they can pre-shop for the shifts worked).
Call me so we can fill your spot. My cell number is 931-334-
6690.  If you call me at home, or email me, I will not get the
message until late at night or NOT at all! Please call the cell
number listed!
Bring any food (finger foods if you need to eat while you work)
or drinks you might need during your shifts.  Dress in work
clothes and comfortable shoes.

If you work the sort shift, we will provide pizza and drinks.
Thanks so much!

We are pretty flexible, so if the times do not work for you-just
call me and we will get you a schedule that works for you. Our
Sale wouldn't be a success without you! Bring drinks and snacks
for your worker shifts.

Saturday Feb 25th, 2012
We need 8-10 men to help with set-up. If you are good at
putting racks together, we need help with that too!
