| Click to go to: Returning Consignor Registration New Consignor Registration Choose a Drop Off Appointment TO CONSIGN: STEP 1- REGISTER- click link above Get your Consignor Number by 12:00 NOON on Feb 27th All tags must be printed by 2:00pm on Feb 28th, 2012 (you must be registered to consign, no walk-ins) STEP 2 — WHAT TO SELL Don't spend Valuable time tagging unless your items meet these guidelines: Kidz items:
All items will be carefully inspected. Help keep our standards high! Damaged, dirty, worn out items will NOT be accepted. THINK UPSCALE, NOT GARAGE SALE See "Items to Sell" below for a detailed list of accepted items. STEP 3- TAGGING If you have a number from another sale, you can request the same # at registration so you won't have to re-tag 1. Hang Clothes: they must be on wire hangers - see diagram below for HOW to pin. Hanger hook points left with tag on right shoulder. For smaller sizes (0-2T), pin sets securely to the hanger at the shoulder or waistband. Size 3T and up sell better as separates. 2. Pricing: You set the price! PRICE TO SELL! Especially on hard-to-sell items like crib bedding, infant and maternity clothes, books, VHS movies, etc General Pricing Guidelines: Example: An item that sells for $10 retail (new in a store): 40-60% of full price= $4-$6 Brand NEW/Like New, High Demand 30-40%= $3-$4 Good condition items, may show some minor wear 20-30%= $2-3 Items you want GONE, large inventory items like infants, maternity, shoes, books, VHS movies, etc. 3. MAKE TAGS: - It's generally faster to gather many items together then enter tags. - Click to Enter Tags - Choose "Work with Consigned Items (Active Inventory)." - Enter item description, price, choose size/group from drop-down menu then click "SUBMIT ITEM." - If needed, choose "donate", "discount", or enter an "quantity.". (Example: To tag 10 Disney DVD's, enter "Disney Movie" in description, enter a price, click quantity and enter "10" and it creates 10 tags for you) - You may add, delete, or change details at anytime prior to the sale by clicking the "Add, Edit...Tags" link on the "Tagging Info" page. 4. Print and Attach Tags: - Print on cardstock- they print 6 tags per page. Click HERE for the new easy-to-use software. It gives you a detailed list of your sold items plus check nightly to see your sold items DURING the sale! - Attach tags using CLEAR PACKING TAPE (only) or SAFETY PINS Use one inch or larger safely pins- no tiny gold pins or straight pins please! STEP 4- DROP OFF 1. Sign Up for a DROP OFF APPOINTMENT <-- (click it). 2. Bring your stuff to the TN Children's Home Gym (CLICK FOR MAP). Sign the consignor's agreement and confirm your mailing address, consignor number and phone number. (no envelope or stamp needed) 3. Allow ample time to place your items where they go. Volunteers will be there to assist you. It's VERY helpful if you group your clothing by size and gender BEFORE you arrive. STEP 5- UNSOLD ITEM PICK-UP / COMMISSION CHECK --> Pick-up is SUN, MAR 4TH from NOON-2PM SHARP! ALL items not picked up by 2:01 pm SHARP are donated!!! Designate someone to pick-up for you if you can't by listing them on the Consignor Agreement you sign at drop-off. Checks are mailed NO LATER than 2 weeks after the last sale day. OR Volunteer for the SORT SHIFT on Saturday, Mar 3rd from 3pm-7pm and get your check and unsold items THAT DAY!!!!! ITEMS TO SELL: CLOTHES:

Thankfully, our new tagging system means a consignor's tag stays with the sold item so there's more accountability to guarantee quality.
